About This Project
A collection of symbols made inspired by a variety of pop culture icons from video game characters to movie stars and youtube content creators. Available to be sold as pins or on clothing; contact me for details.
- A crossover between Bob’s Burgers character Louise and Stranger Things Eleven set in a post-apocalyptic punk setting using a baseball helmet as makeshift armor.
- From the YouTube channel h3h3productions comes Ethan Klein whose popular joke is that he represents the “Vape Nation”. The image depicts this content creator’s head in front of a plume of clouds.
- Based on the horror movie Get Out, this image depicts a bowl of cereal in which the colored loops and the white milk are kept separated despite being put into the same bowl. The milk spills over the sides to replicate the tears in the famous scene in which the protagonist is trapped in his own mind.
- Inspired by the horror TV show Hannibal, this image has a skull in the well-known face mask that they clamp onto Hannibal Lecter’s face. He is surrounded by antlers that come from the first season’s antler room.
- This image stars Marvel’s Iron Man, war-torn and beat up, surrounded by digital pulses as he stays strong and fights on.
- Designed in a Keith Harring-esque style, this icon shows the classic clash between Luke Skywalker’s and Darth Vader’s lightsabers from the movie saga Star Wars.
- Made after witnessing the band Black Kids’ concert, this image features their popular album cover’s pattern inside the logo of the venue that they played at in Washington, DC.
- A troubled Spider-man is melting under the stress of his new role as a major superhero in this icon. Menacing cords from his school’s logo appear to be coming out after him, foreboding a dark future for this popular character.
- Assembled in a formation akin to some classic dramatic TV shows’ and movies’ posters, this artwork displays 3 characters from the lighthearted and relaxing video game Animal Crossing.
