An exploration of the space between reality and the surreal. Mart seeks to depict one of the many bizarre, real world environments which reach the verge of seeming unreal. An empty parking lot in the middle of the night seems to almost suspend movement, keeping each breath from seeping out of one’s mouth as they move from destination to the next. This piece recreates that hold on sensibility and bring out the sublime from common settings.
